Since 2012, Wire Stone has worked closely with Microsoft to engage and motivate its global developer audience. The relationship began with Visual Studio campaign development—continually optimized to improve ROI—then expanded to include social activation and demand generation. For the 2013 product release, we crafted a campaign developers called “the best marketing I’ve seen from Microsoft” that resulted in unprecedented activity and a successful launch.

The following year, Microsoft transitioned to continual product release—an evolution that required a marketing transformation. Wire Stone delivered, revealing Satya Nadella’s “cloud-first, mobile-first” vision at a key developer event in New York City, for which we created videos, websites, graphics, an app, and the demand-gen campaign that resulted in a sold-out gathering.
